We started in Dearborn Heights in 2011 — our founding headquarters — with one truck and a simple idea: show up on time, fix it right the first time, and charge a fair price. Fifteen years later, we operate 7 locations across Southeast Michigan and have served over 175,000 clients.
The Plumb-O-Matic Story
Plumb-O-Matic was founded in Dearborn Heights in 2011 — our headquarters to this day — by a licensed master plumber who had spent 12 years working for larger companies and watching customers get overcharged for mediocre work. The mission was straightforward: build a plumbing company that treats every job — a $90 drain cleaning or a $12,000 repipe — with the same level of care and professionalism.
The first year, we ran one truck out of Dearborn Heights. By year three, we had expanded to Southgate and Lincoln Park. Today, Plumb-O-Matic operates 7 locations across Metro Detroit, with dedicated crews in Dearborn Heights (HQ), Dearborn, Southgate, Lincoln Park, Bloomfield Hills, Shelby Township, and Livonia.
Our master domain — plumbomatic.com — is based in Dearborn, the hub of our digital network. Our physical headquarters remains in Dearborn Heights, where we started. Every location operates under the same standards, uses the same materials, and is staffed by the same caliber of licensed, permit-ready tradespeople.
We've served over 175,000 clients since 2011. We've fixed burst pipes at 3 A.M., replaced water heaters on Christmas Eve, and repiped houses that hadn't had decent water pressure in 20 years. We don't take that trust lightly.

The Fleet
Every Plumb-O-Matic truck is a rolling warehouse. We stock the most common repair materials, replacement parts, and water heater units on every truck — which means most jobs are completed in a single visit.
Our trucks carry Bradford White water heaters in the most common residential sizes (40, 50, and 75 gallon), PEX-A tubing and fittings, sewer camera equipment, hydro-jetting machines, and the full range of drain cleaning tools.
Every technician is licensed in Michigan and trained on the full range of residential and commercial plumbing. We don't send a specialist for one job and a generalist for another — every crew member can handle everything from a simple drain clog to a full-house repipe.
