Do I need a permit for a gas line?

It depends on the scope of work and your municipality. New gas line installations and major extensions typically require a permit. Minor repairs and appliance reconnections often do not. We assess each job and pull a permit when one is required — and we handle all the paperwork when we do.

What is the difference between black iron and CSST?

Black iron pipe is threaded steel — the traditional material for gas distribution. CSST (corrugated stainless steel tubing) is flexible and faster to install in tight spaces. Both are code-compliant; we choose the right material for each application.

How do I know if I have a gas leak?
