Plumb-O-Matic has been fixing homes across Metro Detroit since 2011. We know what it means to do a job right — to use the best materials, take your time, and stand behind your work. When we started making candles, we brought that same mindset to the craft.
Plumb-O-Matic Candle Co. was born out of a simple idea: make a candle we'd actually want in our own homes. No cheap paraffin, no synthetic fillers, no shortcuts. Just pure coconut wax, premium fragrance oils, and a cotton wick — poured by hand in small batches right here in Michigan.
Every candle we make is fresh. We don't warehouse inventory for months. When you order from us, you're getting a candle that was poured recently — the fragrance is at full strength, the wax is at its best, and the burn is exactly what it should be.

Why Coconut Wax
Changes Everything
Most candles on the market are made with paraffin — a petroleum byproduct that burns dirty, throws soot, and doesn't hold fragrance well. Some brands use soy, which is better, but still often blended with paraffin and prone to rough tops and uneven burns.
Coconut wax is in a different category entirely. It's the cleanest-burning natural wax available, with a creamy texture, exceptional scent throw, and a burn time that outlasts everything else. It costs more to produce — and it's worth every penny.

How We Make Them
The Process
Source the Wax
We use 100% pure coconut wax — no blends, no paraffin, no soy filler. Every batch starts with the same premium base.
Blend the Fragrance
Fragrance oils are measured by weight and blended at the precise temperature for maximum scent retention and even throw.
Hand-Pour Each Jar
Every candle is poured by hand in small batches. We control the pour temperature to the degree for a perfect, smooth set.
Cure & Quality Check
Candles cure for a minimum of 48 hours before we inspect each one — wick centering, surface finish, scent strength, fill level.
Label & Package
Each candle is labeled, wrapped, and packaged with care. Ready to gift or ready to light — right out of the box.
